Seminars and Training 2008 - 2009
TLAS organizes many training and information workshops and seminars with the employees of the central and local government structures, court staff and organizations that comprise as their memebers TLAS target groups or represent the interests of such groups.
Below you may find a few of the workshops and seminars organized by TLAS.
Tirana, February 2008. It was organized the round table with the participation of the members of the National Association for the Protection of Work and Democracy in Albania, in relation to the strategy for the recognition of the working years of former non-political convicts in Albania during 1945-1990.
Durrës, Shkurt 2008. U organizua seminari me nëpunës të zyrave të gjendjes civile Durrës, si dhe anëtarë të shoqatës Alba-Rom, Shoqata Durrësi, Shoqata e Grave me Probleme Sociale, në lidhje me rritjen e aksesit të publikut në drejtësi përmes përmirësimit të shërbimit, rritjes së transparencës dhe etikës profesionale.
Tiranë, Mars 2008. U organizua seminari me anëtarët e shoqatës “Zemra e Nënës”, për forcimin institucional të organizatave që kanë si anëtarë të tyre grupet e synuara të TLAS.
Tiranë, Korrik 2008. Seminar trainues me anëtarët e shoqatës “Alba Rom”, me temë “Ndërgjegjësimi i Komunitetit Rom për njohjen dhe kuptimin e disa ndryshimeve të ligjit të gjendjes civile dhe roli i shoqatave në përmirësimin e këtij shërbimi nga strukturat lokale”.
Tiranë, Shtator 2008. Seminar trainimi i organizuar me përfaqësuesit e shoqatave Rome në Tiranë, Durrës, Elbasan, Fier, me temë forcimi i kapaciteteve të organizatave rome dhe ndihma ligjore për regjistrimet civile.

Round Table with the representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Work, Social Affairs and Equal Chances, Albanian Helsinki Committee, National Bar Association, etc with the subject “Improvement of the Legal Aid System a requirement for the increase of the access to justice.
Tirana, July 2008. Round Table with the employees of the civil status offices of Albania (340 participants), for the increase of the perception level of the amendments of the civil status law regarding the birth registrations.
Elbasan, September 2008. Training workshop with the court clerks, attorneys and judges of the Elbasani District Court, for the “Legal Aid and access to court of the vulnerable community (Roma and Egyptian communities)”.

Tirana, October 2009. Workshop organized in the framework of the project “Improvement of the Pre-detention system in Albania” financed by OSFA/SOROS with the support of the Albanian Ombudsman. The topic of the workshop was “Monitoring of the violation of the fundamental human rights for the individuals held in pre-detention and submission of the cases in court”
Tirana, November 2009. Round table organized with the main stakeholders for the presentation of the recommendations and findings of the study and analysis of the legal framework on the social assistance and services and obtaining of feedback from the stakeholders.
